Jerusalem Market (old city)
| Hiske (left); me in the middle, and Hiske's friend Louisa from Holland. I guess the guy standing at the back worked in the joint. Hiske used to love going into these places and milking the hospitality offered in the big sell to get you to buy something. And she often did. She likes shopping and still works the markets in Sydney (1999). I hated it then and I hate it now. Whether Jerusalem, Kuala Lumpur, Adelaide - wherever - shopping is a drag. Looking however is fun. |
